Founded in 2006, SB Mineração was born as the result of a vast knowledge and strong willingness to bring the best in the segment of limestone and calcium carbonate. The company expanded after just two years in business, adding pendulum mills that increased production.
Our industrial plant is in the Gironda district, in the city of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, Espírito Santo, Brazil, with an extensive plot of land (measuring around 25,000 square meters) in an excellent location: roughly 51 km from highway BR 101, 58 km from highway BR 262, and 145 km from the state capital, Vitória.

Calcium carbonates of high chemical purity are key parts of SB Mineração, which has its own reserves for a higher quality production. A major differentiator is our deposits in the region of Itaoca, municipality of Cachoeiro de Itapemirim.
Strategically close to the company, the reserves have the potential to operate for more than 200 years, ensuring security to continuously serve all types of markets.
SB Mineração’s industrial complex is another differentiator. The four pendulum mills provide a production capacity of around 8,000 metric tons, for milled carbonates and superfine particles.
The mills are of different sizes and adjusted to have a high percentage in the volume of superfines in order to improve the abrasiveness indexes of the final products.
